about

OUT NOW ON DRUGMONEY RECORDS / DISTRIBUTED BY SUBURBAN / AVAILABLE THROUGH ALL DSP'S

'Everyone Gets The Song They Deserve' is the debut album by D Deadly. It's a collection of impassioned guitar songs with gallant vocal and instrumental harmonies and melodies. The album contains lots of varying dynamics; powerful and energetic, but also intimate and feelingly. But most of all: “the song” is never lost out of sight.

For the recordings of 'Everyone Gets The Song They Deserve', D Deadly joined forces in the studio with Jon Auer (the Posies/Big Star), who worked as a co-producer for the album and can be heard as a musician on a lot of songs as well. The album also contains guest appearances by singer Bella Hay, accordionist Tren Enckevort (Rowwen Hèze), banjo player Paul van Hulten (Man from the South) and the strings and horns of philharmonie zuidnederland.

After a six-year hiatus, D Deadly will perform once again in 2020, at the Mañana Mañana festival in Vorden June 19th.
